PLS was built around a simple idea: new manufacturing technology only matters if it actually works on the shop floor.

We come from fabrication and manufacturing, so we understand the challenges our customers deal with every day—labor constraints, production bottlenecks, weld quality, grinding and finishing time, training, and the constant pressure to increase output without sacrificing quality.

That is why PLS is more than a laser welding equipment supplier.

We are fabricators, integrators, problem solvers, and manufacturing partners focused on helping companies evaluate, implement, and successfully operate new welding technology.

Our approach starts with understanding your current process. We look at the parts you are welding, the materials and thicknesses involved, production volumes, fit-up, labor requirements, finishing time, and where your biggest bottlenecks exist.

From there, we determine whether handheld laser welding is the right solution for the application.

When it makes sense, we help move the process from evaluation to implementation through application testing, equipment integration, operator training, and ongoing support.

PLS specializes in handheld laser welding systems, laser welding applications, and manufacturing solutions designed to improve throughput, reduce post-weld grinding, simplify welding processes, and help manufacturers get more production from their existing workforce.

But selling equipment is only part of the process.

We believe successful implementation happens on the shop floor. That means working directly with operators, supervisors, and production teams to get the equipment set up correctly, develop repeatable welding processes, and provide hands-on, on-site laser welding training.

Our goal is not to drop off a machine and walk away.

Our goal is to help customers get up and running, build confidence in the technology, and create a process that can be repeated every day in production.
